Jorja & Jaradette | Spruce Grove | Horse & Rider Portraits by Calgary Equestrian Photographer
Jorja is a long time client of mine and we’ve had many sessions together over the years. Her giant (and yes, I mean giant) mare, who is affectionately named Jerry (which is one of my favourite barn names ever) is a special favourite of mine to photograph. While I wouldn’t want to own a grey myself, they are especially fun to photograph. It helps that Jorja is an absolutely perfect model.
This session was a complete delight and we didn’t stop laughing from start to finish. The best sessions are when it feels like you are just spending an evening with an old friend, and that was how I would describe this session. The cherry on top was capturing their beautiful connection in the golden glow of summer.
