Who is this right for?
This experience is for anyone with a basic level of photography experience, looking to learn about how to photograph horses. Experience with horses is not a requirement of this course, and you do not need to be a professional photographer.
You must have your own camera (a DSLR or mirrorless, not point and shoot), and have a basic understanding of how to use it and manipulate the settings. An adobe license, with Photoshop and Lightroom is also recommended.
Meet your instructor
Hi, Iβm Annakah! First I want to say, thank you for considering joining us for the equine photography workshop, just the fact that youβre here means a lot!
So why should you trust me with your education? I have been pursuing photography since 2013 and it has been my full time career for the past 7 years. I have photographed hundreds of horses at this point, likely well over 500, and while I wouldnβt say I have βmasteredβ it (because I think we are all always learning, I have become an expert in the industry and known for my unique use of light, highly polished editing skills, and my ability to work with animals and make the entire photo session experience a relaxing and comfortable one for the models I am working with, both 4-legged and 2. I also have been educating other photographers both virtually and in person for the last 5 years. Itβs hard to fit more in this little text box but I hope you join us in September so we can get to know each other better!
