Extreme Stables 16th Annual Extravaganza

It is hard to describe just how much the Extreme Stables Extravaganza means to me. As a former competitor, this show holds especially precious memories. As a photographer, the extreme team were some of the first people to trust me and help build my business, an opportunity for which I will be forever grateful for. Every year is is a reminder of how far my business has come, and to remember what truly matters. I can't believe it has been six amazing years capturing memories at one of my favourite places and my absolute favourite show! It has flown by but also feels like I've been doing it forever. The team at Extreme is truly the best in the business and I'm honoured just to be part of such an amazing show. There are way too many amazing folks on the Extreme team to give them all a shoutout but it takes a village to put on such an incredible weekend and they do it year after year with such smiles and warmth. It is truly a blessing just to be a part of it; there is a reason this is the only show that I still take on as an official photographer! It is one of my favourite weekends of the whole year and brings so much joy, laughter, and amazing memories! There are not many people I would sit out in the rain for all day but I would happily do it again every year for the amazing Extreme team and all the competitors

It might not have been the weekend that everyone hoped, with the never-ending rain on Friday, but I’ve got to give my hat off to the show organizers and every single competitor for everyone’s great attitudes and positivity! Alberta eventers and riders certainly don’t let the weather get them down!

Here are a few of my favourite images from one of my most favourite weekends of the summer. It is honestly hard to pick just a few images to capture the whole weekend, and truly this is more of a random selection rather than carefully picked favourites. With over 15,000 images it would just take far too long to pick favourites but I think this selection captures well the feeling of joy, teamwork, laughter, and hard work that is present every second at the Extreme show.
