I’ve lost track over how many times over the years I’ve photographed Paige and her geldings, but it is a treat every time! This blog features two sessions, last year’s portraits with Simon and Finnick, and this year we did some especially special pride themed portraits!
I hope that everyone following my page knows that this is an open and welcoming space who will always accept you for who you are and pass no judgment I think the equestrian world is a difficult community to be a part of sometimes when you are grappling with your sexuality or gender identity. I hope this is changing but I think there are many pre-conceived notions of who equestrians are, which makes it difficult to explore yourself outside of these boxes, especially when you add societal and familial pressure on top of that. It brings me so much joy to get to capture these stunning portraits and feature them on the blog and my page 🌈
