Christmas Mini Session πŸŽ„ London & Benny

I met London years ago, in 2020, when my business was still in its early stages of getting off the ground. It was a lovely surprise to hear from her again last year and to get to capture a beautiful Christmas Mini Session with her beautiful gelding Benny. It was my first visit to the beautiful Blarney Stone Farms and it did not disappoint as a beautiful backdrop for gorgeous Christmas photos πŸŽ„

It was obvious that these two share a beautiful connection built on trust, as Benny was not very comfortable with all the Christmas decorations but his trust and confidence in London was obvious as she encouraged him to face his fears. Their unspoken language and interactions was a beautiful thing to watch, and I have no doubt that they share an incredible partnership undersaddle. Finding trust and confidence in each other is key to building an unstoppable partnership and unbreakable bond.

Spooky Horse? No Problem!

Benny was not a fan of the Holiday decorations. The wreath was a no-go and he was very cautious about the rest of the set-up. While the β€œChristmas” portion of the Christmas Mini session is generally non-negotiable, occasionally exceptions have to be made because horses aren’t objects, they have minds of their own and sometimes aren’t willing to put up with our crazy ideas. So if you’re worried about your horse being afraid of the Christmas decorations, don’t let that hold you back from booking a session. I will always accommodate a horse in any way I can and we can still add a festive element to your photos with editing and Photoshop!
