Your session is a work of art, and needs to be displayed!

I am a big believer in printing your images! Nothing makes me happier than seeing client’s images blown up on large canvases or in beautiful frames, and seeing the smiles on their faces when they first see the beautiful prints! I understand we are in the digital age and I know that my clients are going to want to share their images on social media or be able to add them as their phone lock-screen but I truly believe that there is something you get from prints that you just can’t get from a digital image.

Your images are a work of art and they deserve to be shown off in your home and on your walls!

You get to see your images every day!

Now I’m sure that you love your digital images, and the first week or month after you receive them they might stay fresh in your mind, you might look at them daily or weekly but eventually they fall to the back of your camera roll or some lost folder on your desktop. Let’s face it, you don’t get the chance to look at them every day. When you print your images though, you get to look at it every day, whether you have a canvas hanging in your entryway or a framed print in your bedroom. Even if it is an album sitting on your coffee table, you are drawn to it much more often than the folder on your computer and flip through it every so often, looking back on the beautiful memories. It is a constant reminder of your connection and bond with your horse, and a momento to their beauty.

Prints, and horses, make excellent decor!

I’m sure we all know the beauty of hanging artwork on our walls, it makes the most perfect decor and can totally transform a room. That artwork becomes really special when it is also your memories hanging on the wall, and your horse! I am a big advocate that horses are art, especially if you’ve booked a fine art session. These images are especially perfect as wall art. More importantly, the art hanging on your walls is no longer abstract, someplace that you’ve never been or a horse that you’ve never met. It is you, and it is your horse and nothing feels better than celebrating your connection and your horse than by displaying it in your home, for you to see every day. Plus you’re guaranteed to get compliments from anyone who comes over and to be the envy of all your barn friends. I mean who doesn’t want a giant canvas of their horse hanging in the living room!

Printing your images makes them come alive

I’m sure I’m not the only one who has spent evenings with family, flipping through old photo albums and re-telling old stories, re-living the memories gone by. There is something special about holding a physical image in your hands, or flipping through a bound photo album that just makes the images and the memories come alive all over again. Your images tell a story, the story of you and the connection with your horse and printing them out will bring them to life. They transform from just a digital image into a print filled with life, story and memory, something that can be treasured by you for many years and looked back on in years to come, so you can re-live it all over again.

Have I convinced you that prints are awesome yet?

I don’t know if I’ve convinced you but I’ve done a pretty good job of convincing myself, I might have to go order some prints for myself after this! I hope this blog opened your eyes to not just the beauty of printing your images, but the meaning that comes from them as well. I don’t want capturing your story to be the last step on our journey together, I want you to leave the experience with tangible memories of your session and your connection with your horse. This is why most of my packages include a print offering of some kind. I think they are truly crucial to completing the session experience and that every client should leave with some form of print so that they can always remember their story and look back on the memories.
