Ens Family Portraits | Ens Family Home in Calgary | Fall Equestrian Family Portraits by Alberta Equestrian Photographer
The fall evening at the Ens family home was simply perfect. In the foothills of Alberta, their home was nestled in the golden hills, orange and yellow aspen colouring the landscape. The vibrant colours made the perfect back drop to capture this incredible family, full of life, joy, laughter, and the best part - their animals!
I am a big believer that you should always include your whole family in your portraits, 4-legged members included. At this session we wanted to create a frame worthy piece of art, a portrait of the entire family to hang on the wall. It wasnβt a hard task with such a picture perfect family, the hardest part was picking which stunning portrait got to hang on the wall. In the end, it was impossible to pick just one and they selected a beautiful trio of images to hang in their home, immortalizing this beautiful moment in their family forever.

Now the secret about time? There is never going to be enough of it, and it is always going to go by too fast. But that is why you have to be intentional and make time stop, even just for an evening. Capture the moments, freeze your family at this exact moment in time, because the truth is you wonβt get those moments back and once they are gone you will wish you had taken photos every day. So donβt think that you donβt have time to waste on photos, think that you canβt risk wasting these moments and not capturing them.
